PATRICIA ARIANE / VISUAL ARTIST
Patricia Ariane is a multi-artist natural from São Paulo, Brazil. Her artistic practice can be described as the representation of her daily extra-sensory perceptions combined with influences from the artistic avant-garde movements of Figurative, Expressionism, Abstract and Naif Art.
The multi-artist is responsible for the creation and production of paintings and projects that encompass not only visual art, but also music, technology, fashion, science, theology, philosophy, mythology, spirituality, psychoanalysis, parapsychology, biology, physics and neuroscience, a kind of alchemy of art, investing in the combination and transformation of the artistic object. Her ideas go beyond the canvas, reaching projections and installations. She also works with costumes, makeup and self-management.
Each completed work is the result of a stimulating idea, developed through intuition. For the artist, art is the mediator of communication for an experience of cyclical transfer between author and spectator, in addition to being a field of experimentation guided by intuition. Her perspectives seek to convey part of herself and embrace part of the viewer through the act of contemplation, giving rise to what the artist calls “creative imagination” and transforming the content of the work into a field of unlimited possibilities.
Painting since the age of 3, art has always been a natural part of her life, but it was at the Fashion College that she began to direct herself professionally towards her creations, amazed by the Egyptian and Byzantine Art in her History and Aesthetics classes.
Her first-semester project was exhibited at the International Esmod Reunion (L'Ecole Superieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode), in Tunisia, South Africa, in July 2010. In the same year, she was invited to exhibit her fashion sketches at the LAB Club in São Paulo.
Through her Art History class, she became familiar with all the Avant-garde Art Movements, especially Expressionism and artists such as Edward Munch, Paul Klee and Egon Schiele.
In 2011, he began working at a Cultural Agency, where she had the opportunity to produce great music artists such as Matt Sorum (ex-Guns n Roses), Gilby Clark (ex-Guns n Roses) and Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), in addition to having in her hands works by Marc Chagall and Picasso. From that moment on, she began selling her paintings independently until she began participating in exhibitions in 2017. She participated in Art Salons, group exhibitions and she also did mural paintings around the city of São Paulo, Santa Isabel and Osasco. She did not stop at painting and, from 2019 onwards, began developing multidisciplinary art projects involving music, projections, installations and performance, with projects approved and contemplated by the Rouanet Law in 2024. In addition, she expanded her skills by carrying out restorations in several chapels and churches in São Paulo and sacred objects. Her works can also be found in private collections around the world, in countries such as Denmark, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Canada and the United States.

RAPHAEL FRANCO / CREATIVE CARPENTRY
Much of his artistic practice involves exploring the relationship between humans and the physical world; reflecting on the contrast between nature and the built environment. Working primarily with photography and video, the artist examines how large cities are organized and constantly changing. He also engages in project-based work, ranging from interventions in abandoned buildings, to collaborations with other artists, to community work. The main goal of his work is to encourage the public to feel more connected to the city, expanding their perception and reflecting on the way we relate to and transform the landscape that surrounds us. By observing the city as a living organism; perceiving the built environment as an extension of our body, he developed the series of works Urban Surgery and Entrails, in which he depicts scenes of construction work, showing the “flesh” of the city being opened and operated on. These works also reflect on the visceral and aggressive aspects of human evolution, taking into account environmental, social, economic and political issues. Neglected spaces are of great interest to him, both because of their richness in natural elements and because of the questions they raise about the economic system of cities. He sees these places as a kind of laboratory that opens up possibilities for the development of multidisciplinary studies and artistic experimentation. The main works of this research are the Flat Project (in which he set up an apartment in a building skeleton with some friends) and the Introducing New Species project, an ongoing collaborative work involving graffiti, illegal gardening, performance and the study of wild plants. The bicycle is a significant tool for the development of his research, as it is a way of immersing himself in the city, experiencing its different environments and elements in an agile and intimate way. In addition, it raises awareness of movement within public space and how perspective changes in relation to geographical position. In his latest works, he investigates these ideas by developing mapping projects, such as Landscape Absorption System, Cyclevice and Mapping of Public-Private Spaces, as well as photo collages, such as the Architecture of Pipes and Cables series.
